Our mission is to provide no cost to low cost medical care to people who do not have access to any other medical care. The majority of our patients are the working poor: people who are employed but whose employment does not provide medical insurance.
Other Services:
The Harbor Community Clinic provides confidential Reproductive Health and Family Planning services for uninsured individuals. These services include: counseling and access to birth control methods, testing and counseling for sexually transmitted infections, testing and counseling for pregnancy, OB services for pregnant patients, and annual pap smears. Reproductive Health and Family Planning services are available to teenagers and adults.
Mental Health Services
Depression and anxiety are not just bad moods, they can be serious medical conditions that require medical attention, just like a physical disability. Anger and relationship issues can be consequences of these conditions, and can affect one's life in very negative ways. Severe phobias, compulsions or post-traumatic stress are also anxiety disorders.
These conditions can be improved through counseling with a mental health professional. The Harbor Community Clinic Counseling Resource Center offers counseling sessions with Marriage and Family Therapist interns or trainees under the guidance and supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. All services are confidential and provided by skilled and caring professionals. Our Mental Health services are no-cost or low-cost.
